it was an 07 i think, it was the year with the outwards facing ally frame but the wheel will fit anybike, it might just require different spacers but as far as i'm aware there was no difference in wheel spacing 
it's just the usual trials scratches
no, theres no holes at all! 
They just slot inbetween the tyre and the mudgaurd then when you rachet the bike down the forks only compress a little instead of racheting all the way and bottoming out the forks 
I'd split the difference and do 225 + post
